Step 1: The – Curating the Scent & Vessel

It all starts with an idea. Will this be a serene scent for bedtime or an energizing burst for the morning? We dream up the mood, then select the perfect fragrance oil from our library of premium, IFRA-compliant, vegan oils. Simultaneously, we choose the vessel—whether it’s a minimalist frosted glass, an apothecary amber jar, or a handmade ceramic cup—ensuring its size, shape, and aesthetic align with the scent’s character.

Step 2: The Precise Pour – Melting & Measuring

Accuracy is non-negotiable. We carefully weigh our signature soy wax blend and gently melt it in a dedicated melter until it reaches a precise, clean liquid state. In a separate vessel, we measure the exact percentage of our chosen fragrance oil. This ratio is critical: too little and the scent won’t throw; too much and the candle won’t burn properly.

Step 3: The Marriage – Fragrance Meets Wax

This is the magic moment. Once the wax has cooled to its ideal "pour temperature" (a specific point unique to our wax blend), we stir in the fragrance oil. We stir slowly and steadily for minutes on end. This isn’t rushed. This ensures the oil is completely and evenly bonded with the wax, which is the secret to a consistent, strong fragrance throw throughout the candle’s entire life.

Step 4: The Foundation – Wicking & Prepping

While the wax mixture rests, we prepare the vessels. Each container gets a centered, high-quality cotton wick, secured with a adhesive wick sticker. The right wick size is chosen through rigorous testing—it must be powerful enough to create a full melt pool but gentle enough to burn cleanly and slowly.

Step 5: The Creation – Hand-Pouring with Care

Now, we pour. We carefully pour the fragrant wax into each prepped vessel. This is done slowly to avoid air bubbles and ensure a smooth top. Because we work in small batches, we can give each candle individual attention, adjusting for any unique characteristics of the vessel.

Step 6: The Patient Wait – Curing for Perfection

This is the hardest step for us because it requires patience! The freshly poured candles are left undisturbed for a minimum of 5-7 days to cure. Curing is not just about the wax hardening; it’s the crucial period where the fragrance oil fully settles and binds with the wax crystals. Skipping or shortening this step results in a weaker scent throw. We never rush perfection.

Step 7: The Final Touch – Finishing & Quality Check

After the cure, each candle is finished by hand. We trim the wick to the perfect length, clean any vessels, and apply our labels. But most importantly, we conduct a final quality check. We inspect for smooth tops, centred wicks, and ensure the vessel is flawless. Only then is a candle deemed worthy of the Noble Glow name, ready to be carefully packed and sent to its new home.
