How can I make my candle last longer and prevent tunnelling?
Great question! Proper candle care is key to performance and longevity. Here are our top tips:
- First Burn is Crucial: Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the vessel on the first lighting. This sets the "memory" and prevents future tunneling.
- Always Trim the Wick: Before each light, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6mm). This prevents sooting, ensures an even flame, and protects the fragrance oils.
- Burn Safely: Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time, and keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
How are your candles packaged for shipping?
We take great care in packaging! Each candle is securely wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure it arrives safely. For our glass vessels, we use additional cushioning.
